WER SIND WIR? WHO WE ARE: FG DeKolonial e.V. - Fachgesellschaft für rassismuskritische, postkoloniale und dekoloniale Theorie und Praxis versteht sich als inter-, trans- und cross-disziplinäres Forum zwischen sämtlichen wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen und Fachrichtungen und nicht-universitären Institutionen und Initiativen der Wissenserzeugung und -vermittlung, wie Communities, Bewegungen und kulturelle und künstlerische Teile der Gesellschaft. _ The FG DeKolonial e.V. – is an association of antiracist, postcolonial, and decolonial thought and practice. It understands itself as an inter-, trans- and cross-disciplinary forum of different academic disciplines as well as non-academic institutions and initiatives of knowledge production and transfer, such as community work and critical movements in-between different cultural and artistic socio-political sections.
UNSER ZIEL? OUR GOAL: Ziel der Fachgesellschaft ist es, zur Bündelung, Entwicklung und Förderung kritischer Ansätze beizutragen. Im Fokus steht dabei die Analyse ineinandergreifender Formen gesellschaftlicher und globaler Macht-, Ausbeutungs- und Ungleichheitsverhältnisse im Zusammenhang mit „Ethnizität“ und Zuschreibungen von „Rasse“, Kultur, Religion, Staatsbürgerschaft, Geschlecht, Geschlechtsausdruck und -identität, Sexualität, Klasse, Ablebodiedness und Alter - die es letztlich zu überwinden gilt. _ The aim of the association FG DeKolonial is to contribute to and to combine the strengths and efforts of different critical movements, and help to further develop and promote critical approaches. Our focus lies on the analysis of interlocking forms of social and global power relations, different forms of exploitation and inequality in connection with "ethnicity" and attributions of "race", “culture”, “religion”, citizenship, gender expression and identity, sexuality, class, ablebodiedness and age – in the effort to help to overcome them.
