against Anti-Feminist Attacks, and in Solidarity with Anti-Racist Work
The FG DeKolonial condemns institutional hinderance of addressing structural inequality and anti-queer, anti-feminist, racist and fascist violence in the West and all over the world.
We denounce attacks which are used for censorship of critical BIPOC voices and anti-racist work in the curriculum of higher education and other sociopolitical spheres. The FG DeKolonial expresses its strong concern about socio-politically hazardous forms of disinformation and discredit of critical and anti-racist thought and theories.
We stand with and see ourselves in solidarity with the ongoing protests against anti-Black politics in the US, and other protests of different BIPOC groups and organizations that are constantly seeking to work against systematic attacks on marginalized, persecuted and racialized groups and individuals within Europe as well as all over the world. We condemn systematized ignorance and push back of critical thought. Our goal is to strive for democratic values and critical thinking which only can lead to anti-authoritarian forms of political life, so that freedom of thought can be obtained and sustained.
We strongly advocate the implementation of an educational knowledge that stresses the importance of critical theories and stances and knowledge of different historical struggles against different forms of colonialisms and their parallel and overlapping threads, so that we can look forward to a democratic world and the development of a future just economic system on a global scale where all can thrive.
Statement GEGEN DIE ZENSUR KRITISCHEN DENKENS
gegen antifeministische Angriffe und in Solidarität mit antirassistischer Arbeit – auf globaler Ebene
Die FG DeKolonial verurteilt die institutionelle Verhinderung der Auseinandersetzung mit struktureller Ungleichheit. Sie verurteilt antifeministische, anti-queere, rassistische und faschistische Angriffe jeglicher Art im Westen und auf der ganzen Welt.
Wir verurteilen Angriffe, die zur Zensur von kritischen BIPOC-Stimmen und antirassistischer Arbeit in den Lehrplänen der Hochschulen und anderen gesellschaftspolitischen Bereichen genutzt werden. Die FG DeKolonial bringt ihre Besorgnis über gesellschaftspolitisch gefährliche Formen der Desinformation und Diskreditierung von kritischem und antirassistischem Denken zum Ausdruck.
Wir solidarisieren uns mit den anhaltenden Protesten gegen anti-Schwarze Politiken in den USA und anderer Proteste von BIPOC-Gruppen und Organisationen überall auf der Welt, die sich gegen systematische Angriffe auf marginalisierte, verfolgte und rassifizierte Gruppen und Individuen in Europa und der ganzen Welt einsetzen. Wir verurteilen die systematische Ignoranz und die Zurückdrängung kritischen Denkens. Unser Ziel ist es, demokratische Werte und kritisches Denken anzustreben, die nur zu antiautoritären Formen des politischen Lebens führen können, so dass eine Freiheit des Denkens erlangt und aufrechterhalten werden kann.
Wir setzen uns nachdrücklich für die Umsetzung eines Bildungswesens ein, das die Bedeutung kritischer Theorien und Standpunkte sowie die Kenntnis verschiedener historischer Kämpfe gegen verschiedene Formen des Kolonialismus und ihrer Parallelen und ihre überschneidenden Stränge hervorhebt, so dass wir einer demokratischen Welt und der Entwicklung eines zukünftigen gerechten, ökonomischen Systems auf globaler Ebene entgegensehen können, in dem alle gedeihen können.
